KNOW ENOUGH

It is a norm for anyone in Africa to jump into action at the point of getting an idea, whether it is right or wrong, wise or unwise, smart or slothful, this is my own piece of advice.
Never venture into any endeavour be it business, ministry, marriage or whatever  with the “common sense” level of knowledge.
God wants us to know enough that’s why He said “study to show yourself approved unto God…”(2 Tim. 5 vs17). We must keep abreast the fact that the height we get to tomorrow is simply a reflection of the depth of the  knowledge we possess today. The more the depth the higher the flight!
However, it is imperative to know that knowledge is the ‘seed' that God is banking on to prosper us.
In Hosea 4 vs 6, He said “ My people suffer for lack of knowledge”, not lack of money, friends or family but for lack of knowledge which leaves us with the truth that the absence of knowledge is the presence of suffering.
Remember we said initially that knowledge is the seed. Lets stretch it a little; no seed prospers on its own no matter its potency, it requires some other elements especially the rain which in this context is the word of God! God’s word is the rain.* “I will pour my spirit upon you...”
If the rain drops and finds no seed in the earth, it naturally yields nothing but unwanted plants(weed), it is therefore true that any unwanted or detested thing that exits around you is a show of the absence of knowledge(seed)*
Now, if God’s word is the rain and knowledge is the seed then we must agree that wealth, prosperity and success are the fruits. Prosperity is therefore a product of Gods promises and your awareness to His promises.
Common sense will at best deliver common results and common results may bring about insults but make a difference you need and must acquire core-sense (good seed).
Eccl 10 vs 15, the labour of the foolish wearieth everyone of them, because he ‘knoweth’ not how to go to the city. (KJV)
Taking a close look at the highlighted  scripture it is observed that the city was set before him but he lacked the ‘know-how’ to possess it.
Point:
God’s promises are sure but we must grow our minds to possess them.
Go for knowledge for with it you have no-edge, that is no limitation!
