Often times failure sets into a man’s life and in that seat
of devastation the word ‘if’ becomes a solace for him to
hold on to to stay alive. He begins to say words like, if I had known, if they had told me, if my parents this, if my dad
that… and all that.
Casting blames
becomes his strongest weapon but he fails to realize that it is the strongest
weapon against his own self.
Today I am obliged to raise some questions that are
failures closest allies to see if we can really get at failure and win it
because I strongly believe that bringing down the walls that surrounds Jerico
will simply give you victory over Jerico and in this context failure is that Jerico
and together we will win!
The questions…
Do people fail because
they don’t know enough? Or
Do they fail because
they don’t have enough? Or
Do they fail because they
don’t do enough? Or
Do they fail because
they don’t ask enough questions? Or what?...
Failure, I would say is a product of not doing the extra,
not going the extra mile and maybe all the extras. The difference they say between ordinary and the extraordinary
people is the word ‘extra’.
The extra time, the extra effort, the
extra money invested, the extra job, the extra thought and so on.
We must understand this truth that failures fail because they
are ever ready to give excuses and so they quit too soon while successful
people are afraid to make or give excuses which means, they are afraid to fail.
And so they hang on and win!
No one is neither born a failure nor a success. We’re all left to calve
our future and decide our destiny. So if you’re determined and not just wishing
to be a success you must detest excuses because they simply exclude you from success!
To succeed…
Do the extra, go the extra mile to;
Ask enough, know enough, do enough and don’t forget to fight enough!
